[Petition in 5 parts:]1) The people of Labourd request that letters patent be sent to the seneschal of Gascony and to the bailiffs of Labourd that the condemnations of those who make fish-traps and fisheries in the river of Nivelle are held firm, and that those people are punished for their disturbance of passage.2) They request that letters patent be sent to the seneschal of Gascony and the bailiffs of Labourd not to allow the beasts of the people of Navarre and Castile to pasture on their pasture and only to allow those of Labourd to pasture their animals. The gentleman of that area have granted that the beasts of these foreign people can pasture there and the petitioners successfully pleaded against it.3) They request that they are granted letters patent to the bailiffs of that land that none of the people be arrested for trespass as long as they can find surety to stand to right as is customary, except in obvious cases of robbery when they are to commit them to justice according to the usage of the land.4) They request that the king will confirm by his letters patent the conversion of commutation of the right of lodging [albergades] that the bailiff had from each household in Labourd to a monetary payment of 6s. per annum per household.5) They request confirmation by letters patent of the ordinance made by the earl of Richmond and the bishop of Norwich for the payment of rent to the bailiff at a fixed rate, and that the seneschal of Gascony be commanded to observe this and not to allow the bailiff to do anything to its contrary.

The petition dates to 1320 as most of the petition was answered by four entries on the Gascon Rolls dating from 23 May to 6 June 1320 [13 Edw. II] (C 61/ 33, m.8).
