- [The petition is in two parts but is very badly damaged with almost all of the left-hand side of the petition being illegible]. 1) Arnold requests that he and his goods are taken into protection. 2) Arnold requests payment for his service in the war . . . allowed in the baille of Brassenx for an much as any other [will give for it] . . .
