Fitz Thomas requests that the king will order further letters to his justice so that he is not troubled further in this business as he was granted land in Ireland and writs were sent to the justice that these lands were not to be disadvantageous to the king, but were to be profitable to FitzThomas, but after 10 years he still has nothing.

The petition is dated to? c. 1302 as entries dating to 23 February 1302 seem to closely relate to the petition, but the reference to the delay suffered by the petitioner may indicate a much later date (Cal. Docs Ireland, vol. V, pp.17-18 (nos. 37, 38, 43)).
