Kyngeston requests that the king will pay him for the cost and troubles that he has incurred in suing for the recovery of the prises of wines in the port of Kingston upon Hull.

The petition is dated to c. 1324 as the response refers to the presentation of the petitioner to the first vacant church, and the petitioner was presented to two different churches in the period 1324-6 (CPR 1324-7, pp.35, 154, 186, 252).
