Note (Additional information about the record)
- The petition dates to 1323 as the abbey was granted advowsons and appropriations in relief of the same wasting by the king's enemies on 2 March 1323 and it is clear that this petition is in the aftermath of the revolt of Thomas of Lancaster (CPR 1321-4, p.261).
