Kyrketon requests that the bishop of Lincoln finally decide on the dispute among the scholars of the college as to the election of the provost, or that the parties be summoned before council, as Kirketon was chosen by the greater part of the college and confirmed by the bishop of Lincoln, but this has been disputed by Middleton and his party who have sued a commission to the archbishop of Canterbury.
