[Petition in 4 parts:]1) [Largely illegible] This petition concerns a feast that the King has promised to honour.2) The Archbishop asks that the respite that has been given him to answer for his franchises until the parliament at London might be given in writing to the justices of Surrey.3) He asks that the King might give his grace to the bishops and others who should be at the common summons before the justices of Surrey that without incurring a default they might appear at the . . . of Canterbury as they ought by custom, and he makes a request for the knights who are accustomed to be at the feast for the honour of the church.4) [Largely illegible] He asks that the King might grant him the right of his church of Canterbury . . .
