Chisenhale requests that the treasurer and barons of the Exchequer be commanded to cease their demand for 20 marks and acquit him, as he owes the 20 marks for the tithes that he bought from the king from the church of Barton which were in the king's hand because of the debt owed to the king by Chisenhale's predecessor, as the parsonage and tithes have been burnt by the Scots.
