[The petition is very faint and not fully legible].See requests grace concerning a tenement that he and his wife held in Berwick and which he sold to Halyburton and his wife, and of which they were subsequently disseised by Bruce.
Nature of endorsement
Let the inquisition be returned into Chancery, and let it be viewed there, and if it is found that it is as the petition alleges then they are to have a writ to the sheriff of Berwick to deliver the tenement to them.
