Nature of request
The prior and convent request remedy as they have been impleaded in court Christian for the tithes of certain lands recovered by the king's grandfather in the eyre of Hugh de Cressingham which were recovered from the bishop of Carlisle, the prior and convent, and the parson of Thursby as tithes from assarts in the forest outside of the bounds of their parishes, and subsequently granted to the prior and convent.
