Nature of request
Passele requests remedy as Margaret de Vescy, with whom her husband had been living, when he was charged by his confessor to return to Passele, feloniously poisoned him and his son William, and tried to kill Edmund his son and Wallet his servant at Couldon for which matters she was indicted. She was wrongfully mainprised and acquired a charter of pardon and procured an acquittal, and detains Passele from her lands in dower and the heir from his lands by threats.
Nature of endorsement
She should sue, if she wishes, for the death of her husband, and concerning her dower she should sue at the common law.

The petition is dated to c. 1327-c. 1332 in accordance with the dating given on the guard, though many of the references cited there seem to have no direct reference to this petition (CCR 1327-30, p.182; CCR 1330-3, pp.148, 295; CPR 1330-4, p.315).
