Note (Additional information about the record)
- This petition must either be from Engelbert von Berg, Archbishop 1216-1225, in support of Henry I, Duke of Brabant 1183/4-1235, or from Engelbert von Falkenstein, Archbishop 1261-1274, in support of Henry IV, Duke of Brabant 1261-1267. As Henry IV was deposed while still a minor on account of his mental deficiency, it seems perhaps more likely to be the former, and this dating is given confirmation by the dating given to this by Pierre Chaplais (Diplomatic Docs., vol I, no.157, p.108).
