- The keepers, workers, moneyers and other ministers of the Exchange request that they can have remedy so that they can continue to perform their office to the king's profit as their charter of liberties acquits them of all manner of tallages and of serving on assizes, juries or recognisances but the mayor and people of London tallage them.

- He should have a writ of Chancery to the mayor and sheriffs of London that they should supersede the exaction of the tallage, and that they should be at the Exchequer in the morrow of the Ascension to answer why this ought not to be superseded.
