Nature of request
Fitz Hugh requests that a writ be ordered to the justices assigned to take the assize of novel disseisin against him in Westmorland that they not take the assize, and that the matter be adjourned to the bench so that justice can be done to him and Clifford. Fitz Hugh successfully prosecuted an assize of novel disseisin for moor and pasture in Mickleton in Yorkshire, but Clifford has purchased an assize for the same land against Fitz Hugh in Westmorland where Clifford is sheriff in fee.
Nature of endorsement
When the other assize has been taken, he should sue in Chancery and there have a writ to bring both assizes before the king, and there let justice be done.
