Nature of request
Gikel requests a remedy as he inherited land in Chellington, Carlton, Radwell from his uncle but was ousted by his bastard brother who paid John de Grey for this. He was able to recover the land by his own alliances but has been again disseised by Reginald de Grey to whom his brother sold his rights, and the Greys procured that the inquisition upon Gikel's assize of novel disseisin went against him so that he is disinherited.
Nature of endorsement
He is to have a remedy in Chancery by a writ of champarty or otherwise according to his petition, if it seems expedient to him.
