Nature of request
Thomas de Nerford requests remedy regarding matters of process in an assize of novel disseisin brought before the justices of assize in Norfolk by John and Joan Howard, regarding four acres of moor in the vills of Narford and East Walton. He duly came to the hearing and stated that the moor was actually only in Narford, and had been granted jointly to him and his wife Alice and their heirs by Alan and William. The writ only mentioned him alone, but the justices have refused to take this into account.
Nature of endorsement
Send a writ under the great seal to the justices of assize that the duly enrol the exception alleged before them, and if they do not wish to do so, make to seal a bill according to the form of the statute.
