Nature of request
The heirs of Geoffrey de Pycheford request that they may have restoration of the goods of Geoffrey, which have been seized into the king's hands on account of a case brought against Geoffrey regarding sums paid to him while he was constable of Windsor. Although he was granted various sums for the castle guards during his twenty-six years as constable, he was then charged at the Exchequer to return £1228 10s of this money, which he claimed to have spent on his duty, but died before he could answer the charge and consequently his goods were seized.

The king pardons this, and let a writ of chancery be sent to the Treasurer and Barons of the Exchequer.Names of the heirs: Richard de Picheford, son and heir of Geoffrey de Picheford.
