Nature of request
John la Warre requests remedy, stating that his manor of Brislington has always been outside the jurisdiction of the king's chases of Kingswood and Filwood, but that in the time of the king's father, it was adjudged to be within the chase, to the detriment of the rights of his father, Roger.
Nature of endorsement
Order a writ to the Wardens of the Chase to inform themselves of the matters contained in this petition, and whether the manor should be outside the chase as the petition supposes or not, and when the disturbance began, and by whom, and how, and also of other articles touching this matter, and certify the king in chancery as soon as possible.
