John Wolde requests remedy against Denny and Piers, claiming that on, Sunday 16 September 1397, they and twenty men came to his manor at Thundersley, attacked his wife and stole various goods.
Nature of endorsement
By inquisition held before John Buscy and others this bill was found to be true in all matters except that the goods were worth £12 and no more.But another inquisition found that this included various other goods [all listed].
