La Loe requests that whereas Grandison arrested him on the isle of Jersey and detained him until he promised him £20, of which Grandison has received 10 marks by force of imprisonment in the castle of Guernsey, and made him sell his land and rent before he could leave the castle and forced him to levy the rest, that a writ be granted to Roches or to the justices who come to the Islands to enquire into and determine the truth of this matter, and if it is found to be true, that he be granted remedy of the said 10 marks with damages which amount to 10 marks.
