Nature of request
Ralph requests that whereas the King gave him in alms all the tenth sheaf of his champarty in Guernsey to sing daily a mass for the King, his ancestors and heirs, and since last August the King's attorneys have disseised him of the tithes of two carucates, namely 'Corbines' and 'Suardes', and also the tithes of a place whereof he was never disseised, that he be restored thereto as otherwise he would have nothing to live upon as his whole rent is only worth £7.
