Nature of request
Pusant requests remedy because his land and rent were taken into the King's hand because he was at school in the city of Turin, as twelve good men of the parish of St Sampson's will testify, by which he should not have been disseised.1)
Nature of endorsement
Because the justice of the island testified that it was proclaimed at the King's order that those who remain on the island should remain assessed there, under forfeiture of lands and tenements etc. to defend the island etc., and the petitioner did not remain their to assist the island, his lands and tenements etc. were seized into the King's hand. 2) Otto will counsel the King before the next parliament.

The format and hand of the endorsement is similar to other Channel Islands petitions in this file from 1299, and probably relates to the Channel Islands eyre of 1299-1300 (see Crook, Records of the General Eyre, pp.191-2).
