Crombewell requests that he be restored to the keeping of the Tower of London and the keeping of the forest beyond the Trent, both of which the King by his charters gave him for life for his great service to the King and his father.1)
Nature of endorsement
As regards the keeping of the Tower, the King has not yet been advised.2) As regards the keeping of the Forest, Scrope should be summoned.
