Pecche requests that whereas he brought a writ of novel disseisin against the abbot of Westminster before Inge for a messuage, land and 5 marks rent in Longdon which was surceased by the King's charter which the abbot brought before Inge, and he asked that the justices proceed to take the assize and justice be done to him, and the King sent Valence that he should suffer ... the King in Gascony ..., that the king ... the grace which he previously granted him.1)
Nature of endorsement
Coram Rege.2) [Cancelled] He is to proceed to the assize and before judgment is given, they are to return their findings to the next parliament.3) He is to have a writ to Inge before whom the assize is brought that he is to send the record and process to Mortimer and Beaufou the justices now assigned. He is to have another writ to Mortimer and Beaufou that they are to proceed to take the assize but not to give judgment and they are to send the record and process of that assize to the next parliament.
