The petitioner requests the restoration of his inheritance, a messuage and 25 acres in Worthenbury in Maelor Saesneg which were taken into the King's hand upon his father's death because he was only 5 years old.
Nature of endorsement
The justice of Cheshire should have a writ to enquire into the matter and how the lands came into the King's hand, and if it was for the reason contained in the petition, the lands should be delivered and if it was for another reason, the King should certify it.
