Walter, parson of Bockingfold, requests remedy since le Crekeur granted to John, parson of the chapel of Bockingfold, and his successors pasture for 6 cows and 18 pigs in his park of Bockingfold all year, timber for repairing the chapel and his houses, husbote, heybote and ferbote, free multure of the mill of Bockingfold and free fishing in the water called 'La Roe', and also a right of way from his mill to the chapel, of which each parson has been seised until Badlesmere purchased the manor and disseised the petitioner, and the lands are now in the King's hand by Badlesmere's forfeiture.
Nature of endorsement
If it pleases the King, the council thinks that the petitioner should state his case in Chancery, and that certain men should be assigned to enquire into the truth, and the inquisition returned to the King.
