Nature of request
Mortemer recounts that he holds the third part of Haverfordwest and St Clears in West Wales there by the King's bailiffs who hold the two parts of the town, and he has been deprived of £6 10s of rent and of profits of pleas and perquisites of the town, of which he was seised for a long time until ousted by the King's bailiffs. He requests execution of the inquisition in this matter which was returned in Chancery by Havering and Mortimer.

Let him sue in Chancery to cause the inquisitions to come before the council.
