Atte Putte requests that whereas it was ordained by the council that no charters be allowed until parliament except to those who were at the King's battle in Scotland, that the King allow his grant of pardon of felony and trespass made to the petitioner even though he was unable to be at the King's war in Scotland on that day and for a long time before, but sent a sufficient man in his stead.
