Nature of request
The mayor and citizens of Exeter complain that Swansea by virtue of letters patent takes such outrageous carriage in the city for carrying cinders to the King's mines that no loads for furnaces come into the town.1)
Nature of endorsement
Devon.2) A writ should be sent out of Chancery to the treasurer and barons of the Exchequer to call the parties before them and, after hearing their reasons, to do justice on the contents of the petition.
