[French] The abbot of St Augustine, Bristol, who holds his house of the advowson of the King and his ancestors, requests that the King grant him protection according to the form written below, as Henry and John previously granted, because he is troubled on a daily basis by certain men who claim lordship and patronage over him.[Latin] John's grant of protection to the abbot and canons of St Augustine, Bristol.1)
