- Lovel requests that whereas he owes £20 which the King gave him from the Wardrobe in aid of his clothing and equipment for going to Gascony, for which he was distrained by the vesturer of Northamptonshire, and 11 and a half marks demanded by various summonses of the Exchequer in Warwickshire, that the King make allowance for the same from the £111 6s 6d due to him for arrears for his wages and those of some of the knights in Gascony.
