Nature of request
The dean and chapter of Bangor request restitution of the rents due to them from, since from time of memory they have had the profits of the bishopric in common with the bishop and have had half of the rents and profits in times of voidance as at other times, but, after the death of Bishop Anian, Chelidon seized the lands into the King's hands.
Nature of endorsement
The justice of North Wales should order the escheator to inform himself of the manner in which the King has been served of the issues of the bishopric in times of voidance, and if the petitioners have previously received the half, then they should not be deprived of the same. And he should certify his findings from the inquisition in Chancery and do justice.
