- [This petition is badly faded and much is now illegible.]Alice de Lacy, Countess of Lincoln, makes two separate requests for remedy regarding outstanding issues from Newcastle-under-Lyme and Upleadon. She ought to have received these by the king's writ to his keepers, but they have not been forthcoming.

Note (Additional information about the record)
- Dated on the guard to c. 1322-3, since reference is made in the petition to events of 12 July in the sixteenth year of Edward [II] (1322). It evidently deals with the aftermath of the forfeiture of the petitioners husband, Thomas of Lancaster, and thus presumably dates to some point during the latter years of Edward II's reign.
