Nature of request
Wynslade and Normaunt request that whereas le Despenser was chief forester of Bradden, which belongs to his manor of Chelworth, and made Thomas de Winslade his deputy, and it was then found by inquisition before Mounthermer that Thomas had levied £10 for hambling dogs, by virtue of which the petitioners, who are tenants of Thomas's lands, were charged the said £10 before Mautravers and his companions, when Thomas was not the King's minister but the Earl's, that they may have remedy and be discharged.
