Nature of request
Bohun requests remedy since on 23 May in the sixth year of the King's reign [1332], by a commission out of the Exchequer, he took certain tenements, which were in the King's hand by the death of Corbridge, in Hatfield Peverel for 5 marks yearly, but on the same day the King, by a commission out of Chancery, granted the same tenements to Joan, late wife of Corbridge, for a debt which the King owed to Corbridge, so that Bohun can have no profit from the tenements, and recently the sheriff of Essex was ordered by writ out of the Exchequer to levy the said 5 marks with arrears from Bohun.

It should be pursued in Chancery, and he should have a writ as requested.
