- The petitioners state that they understand that the prelates, barons, knights and others holding jurisdiction in the Agenais are attempting to acquire new rights, which are contrary to the custom of those parts and to the prejudice of the King and of the people of the Agenais. They list four in particular, and say that they can give more if asked, asking that these people might not be given a hearing, and also that they might have a copy of the articles made or to be made by the prelates, barons, knights and others, insofar as they touch them and the estate of the country.
