- [This petition is illegible in places.]Memorandum in three parts:1) That the commissions and other letters to avoid war and the danger of disinheritance and other harms which threaten in the cognisance of the court of France made by the lord King and his father and grandfather, might be renewed with the necessary corrections to impede arrest by the court of France, bearing in mind that the King was put in default in two parliaments.2) Concerning the provision of a remedy for the forfeiture and restitution of lands in the Duchy of Aquitaine.3) That a writ lately sent to the Treasurer and Chamberlains of the Exchequer to send transcripts of all processes concerning defence of the King's rights to those parts by suitable clerks might be put into execution, as the present keeper is unsuitable.
