- [This petition is slightly damaged.]William, son of John Fitz Thomas of Lincoln, states that he brought a writ against William de Clif concerning certain lands in Lincolnshire, and that seisin was adjudged to him by the court; but that he could not have execution because it was maliciously attested to the court that William's lands are seized into the King's hand, although they are not. He requests a remedy.
