Robert atte Water states that at the time when the King released the Prince of Salerno in Aragon he pleaded against Adam de Stretton at Westminster concerning certain tenements in Rotherhithe, and that although the inquisition was held and found in his favour, he has never been able to have a judgment. He asks the King to order that he may have judgment.
Nature of endorsement
[Because] Adam de Stratton is dead, he is to take action [through a writ] of Chancery [against the present] tenants, if he thinks [it will help him].
