Description

Imperial Sugar Grant. Urges desirability of making definite pronouncement as to the ultimate disposal of £80,000. Discusses two schemes 1) Central Factories with due regard to claims of Cane Planters; 2) Continuation of Plantations in Aid Act including format of Agricultural Loan Institution. States that he prefers the latter and dismisses the scheme for the pro-rata distribution amongst planters, as it is contrary to Brussels Convention.
