Smallpox. Reports progress and sends return showing the distribution of the epidemic, together with the latest return of vaccinations. States that the Bill to amend the Public Health Act 1898 was thrown out in the House of Assembly. Sends also copy of bill to provide for vaccination of infants. Reports visit to Pelican Island and sends photographs of cases under treatment.
