Metric System of Weights and Measures. States that the Committee of Commerce are of opinion that a change in the present system is undesirable so far as Barbados is concerned, but that in the event of the adoption of the metric system by the more important portions of the Empire, they would advocate the adoption here. Adds that the members of the Executive Committee are also adverse to a change.
