Volcanic Dust from Soufriere (St Vincent). Sends copy of the result obtained by a full analysis of the volcanic dust which fell in Barbados on 16 October. States that the Acting Professor of Chemistry reports that, although the dust has not high fertilising value, its mechanical effect will probably prove of advantage to many soils and notably also to grasslands and lawns.
