Smallpox. Reports 1318 cases, 100 proved fatal and 814 have been discharged and cured and informs that the number of people who have been vaccinated is 64,178. Reports also on the progress of the measures taken for the eradication of the epidemic, i.e. vaccination, declaration of infected areas and measures taken as far as possible on lines adopted in England.
