Accommodation for the Boer prisoners. Confirms the statement that the presence of the Boer prisoners might prove an element of danger in the Island. States that Lord Harewood considers the scheme most objectionable but is prepared to let Fortescue's Pasture to the Government for an adequate rent, but only if they agree to pay full compensation for any damage done to land, crops and buildings.
