Lieutenant C P Berthon: grant of local rank of Captain to Governor's Aide-de-Camp. Asks that the notification in the Barbados Gazette granting Lieutenant C P Berthon, East Yorkshire Regiment, the local rank of Captain, may be cancelled. He thinks that the Governor's action constitutes a new departure and they are unable to approve the grant of the rank in question, as it is unusual for an Aide-de-Camp.
