Description

Police Magistrate, Bridgetown. Informs that the position of Police Magistrate became vacant upon the retirement of Mr J P Massiah. Transmits particulars of the post and recommends Mr Gowdey, Magistrate of District 'E', for the appointment on conditions that he agrees to undertake share of the Petty Debt Work if the Petty Debt Court is to be abolished. Recommends also Mr Edward Goulbourn Sinckler, Senior Clerk to the Assistant Court of Appeal, to succeed to Mr Gowdey in District 'E'. Sends further applications from Mr C A Bartlett, Mr W L McKinstry, Mr K J Greaves, Mr G O'D Walton and Mr P H G Ellis.
