Compulsory attendance of defendants at Magistrates Courts. Transmits copy of a circular letter issued to all District Magistrates informing them that he wishes that in all cases in which the punishment of imprisonment is involved the defendant should be compelled to attend in Court for the purpose of answering to the charge against him/her, under Act 13 of 1897.
