Description

Mr E E Ince: forfeiture of Scholarship. Informs that the Board of Education has decided in a recent meeting that Mr Ince, the Barbados Scholar for 1899 who has been pursuing his studies at Hertford College in Oxford, has failed to obtain Honours in Moderations and has been subject to an unfavourable report for his work and conduct. Asks therefore that no further payments be made to him. Sends copy of Regulations for the Barbados Scholarship and states that the Colonial Government would pay for his passage fees to Barbados if necessary.
