Halifax to Granby, enclosing papers [SP 87/48/76-78] received from the Hessian ministers in London, containing a complaint against a detachment of the British train of artillery commanded by Colonel Philips, which is alleged to have pillaged the town of Rauschenberg. They demand the punishment of the perpetrators and compensation for the victims. Granby is to establish the truth of the matter. Dated at St James's. ff. 131, 132
